About:

The Rivers family has been raising pigs for over a century, and still to this day use a no-till cropping system to grow grass and feed for their pig herd. Besides the land the pigs live on, other areas of their farm are home to wild bee colonies, as well as deer, coyotes, rabbits and songbirds! Berkshire / Tamshire pigs are a very hardy breed of pork sought after for the highly marbled meat they produce. Berkshire pork is prized for its sweet, rich flavour, delicate texture and unbelievable level of juciness.

Working in partnership with Royal Crown Meats and master butcher Gunther Gruener, the Stonecroft farm pigs are processed and butchered fresh weekly in North York.
